Ugandan singer Pallaso has opened up about a past relationship with fellow musician Nina Roz, revealing that the two were once romantically involved shortly after he returned to Uganda from the United States.
The revelation came during a TikTok Live session when Pallaso was challenged to tell a truth about himself. He was specifically asked whether he had ever dated another musician.
Pallaso initially appeared reluctant to answer, seemingly concerned that his response could make Nina Roz uncomfortable. However, he eventually decided to reveal what had happened between them.
“Won’t it make her feel bad? Let me tell you something you don’t know. When I had just returned from America, me and Nina Roz were so tight. There’s nothing embarrassing with that because she’s a beautiful woman,” Pallaso said.
His comments immediately became a talking point during the live session, particularly after fellow singer Jose Chameleone jokingly joined the conversation.
Chameleone teased Pallaso, saying the revelation helped him understand why Pallaso and Nina Roz sometimes appear to embrace differently whenever they meet.
Pallaso, however, insisted there was no bad blood or awkwardness between them. He explained that their relationship belonged to the past and that both of them eventually moved on as life took them in different directions.
The singer also appeared comfortable acknowledging the relationship, describing Nina Roz as a beautiful woman and making it clear that he did not consider their past romance something embarrassing.
Nina Roz has previously been publicly associated with fellow musician Daddy Andre, with whom she had a widely followed relationship.
The two musicians even held a traditional kukyala ceremony during their time together, but their relationship later came to an end after about a year.
Pallaso’s revelation has now brought renewed attention to Nina Roz’s dating history within Uganda’s entertainment industry and sparked fresh interest among fans who may not have known about her earlier relationship with the “Malamu” singer.
