The Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has announced the relocation of its Real Estate Tax Office from its headquarters in Nakawa to a new location in Kampala.
According to a public notice issued by URA, the office has moved to RR Pearl Tower One on Yusuf Lule Road as part of the authority’s efforts to improve service delivery to taxpayers and the general public.
The new office is located on the ninth floor of RR Pearl Tower One, opposite the Ministry of Health Headquarters. The relocation officially takes effect on September 7, 2026.
URA has advised taxpayers and members of the public who need services related to real estate tax to take note of the new location and visit the Pearl Tower office instead of going to the former office at URA Headquarters in Nakawa.
The authority said the move is aimed at improving access to its services and ensuring that taxpayers can receive the assistance they need more effectively.
The relocation is particularly important for property owners, real estate businesses and other taxpayers who regularly seek guidance or services concerning real estate taxation. URA’s dedicated office will continue handling matters related to real estate tax at the new location.

Taxpayers who require assistance can also visit the nearest URA office.
The authority thanked taxpayers and the general public for their continued cooperation and urged everyone affected by the change to take note of the new location. URA said the relocation forms part of its continued efforts to strengthen service delivery and make it easier for Ugandans to access its services.
