Members of the Rotary Club of Kampala North on September 17, 2026, visited the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority (UCAA) at Entebbe International Airport as part of a vocational visit aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of Uganda’s aviation sector.The delegation was led by Rotarian Ronald Mutebi, who represented the club President during the visit. The engagement brought together Rotary members interested in learning more about the aviation industry and the institutions responsible for overseeing its operations.
During the visit, the Rotarians had an opportunity to learn about the work of UCAA and its role in Uganda’s aviation sector. The visit provided a practical platform for the members to gain knowledge about an industry that plays an important role in connecting Uganda to the rest of the world.The delegation also visited Entebbe International Airport, giving members an opportunity to appreciate the various activities and systems involved in airport and aviation operations. The practical exposure allowed them to connect their professional interests with the realities of the aviation environment.The vocational visit was also an opportunity for the Rotary members to broaden their knowledge beyond their individual professions.
