Stanbic Bank Uganda has been named the “Best Investment Bank in Uganda” by the prestigious Euromoney Awards for Excellence 2026, marking another major milestone for the financial institution as it celebrates 35 years of operations in the country.The international recognition, announced by the London-based financial publication on July 17, 2026, highlights Stanbic’s growing influence in supporting Uganda’s economic transformation through major investments, corporate financing and strategic partnerships that drive business growth and national development.
Stanbic Bank Uganda Chief Executive Mumba Kenneth Kalifungwa said the award reflects the bank’s commitment to its purpose of “Uganda is our home; we drive her growth.” He explained that the bank’s Corporate and Investment Banking division continues to support local companies, create employment opportunities and partner with government on projects that contribute to the country’s future.Kalifungwa said the recognition comes at a significant time as Stanbic marks 35 years of service in Uganda.
