The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) has brought its business registration services closer to entrepreneurs through ongoing Business Registration Clinics in Kampala Central and Kyaliwajjala. The clinics, running from September 14 to 19, 2026, are giving aspiring and existing business owners an opportunity to formalise their businesses without having to travel far to access registration services. In Kyaliwajjala, the URSB clinic is located next to KFC, while entrepreneurs in Kampala Central can access the services on Luwum Street, next to the Absa Bank branch.
The initiative is aimed at encouraging more entrepreneurs to take the important step of registering their businesses and operating within the formal business sector.Business registration can open the door to opportunities that may otherwise be difficult to access, including funding opportunities, bidding for major contracts and supplying goods and services to institutions and larger organisations.URSB is therefore encouraging entrepreneurs who have been operating informally, as well as those planning to start new ventures, to make use of the clinics and get guidance on the registration process.
With registration services available at convenient locations, business owners can receive the necessary support to formalise their ventures and position them for growth and greater opportunities.URSB continues to urge entrepreneurs to take advantage of the ongoing clinics before they close on September 19. As the URSB campaign puts it, “Kiri Easy!” — register your business today and take the next step towards building a stronger and more recognised enterprise.
