Kasirye confirmed that investigations were ongoing, adding that police were pursuing other suspects believed to have links to the alleged crimes.

Police said they would continue conducting operations across Lwengo District to recover stolen motorcycles, apprehend other suspects and improve security.
The nine suspects have been arrested over the allegations, but their individual roles and criminal responsibility remain subject to investigation and the court process.
